Poster design featuring Lake Superior imagery

I was thrilled to be given full artistic license in designing this poster for a concert in Marquette, MI featuring the music of Chopin and the works of local poets. In keeping with the Romantic era’s fascination with nature, I used Lake Superior imagery to create the illustration using Photoshop. The grayscale version is below.

I made sure to maintain a value contrast in the colored piece to ensure a successful grayscale image as well.
